ParentSquare Rows

Similar to the ParentSquare RSS Widget. The most compact option, meaning you can fit a lot of stories in a small amount of space. Accent images are the smallest with this view. Blurring will be added behind images that do not meet a 3:2 aspect ratio. Recommended dimensions: 600 x 400. Recommend showing an even number of posts.

Floating Boxes

Allows images to maintain their original proportions. Has more of a “freeform” look with varying heights, if images are different sizes. But if all images are the same proportions, such as square, this option can also appear balanced, without any background blurring. Recommend showing 4 or 8 posts.

Post with no image

This post originated from ParentSquare, and there was not an image included. Inside Smart Sites, you can upload a default image so that there will always be a branded placeholder. Lorem ipsum dolor s. . .

Compact View

No teaser text. A horizontal sliding carousel appears if set to display more than 4 posts, and more than 4 posts are available. Recommend showing the max of 10 posts. Recommended image size is 600 x 400 to avoid background blur.

3 Photo Carousel

The carousel can auto-rotate or not. No text displays until the visitor hovers over the middle image. (On mobile, the text displays under the image.) The entire image is clickable and linked to the post. Blurring will be added behind images that do not meet a 3:2 aspect ratio. Recommended dimensions: 600 x 400.

Pulling from Post Page Type

In addition to pulling in posts from ParentSquare, the Post Feed component can also pull in posts from the Smart Sites Post Page Type. For comparison purposes we have the above components all configured to show the same posts from ParentSquare, but below is an example of a feed that combines the two (set to Balanced Boxes style with the Accent Line).
