That's why we've streamlined the transition to Smart Sites and made applying a new design as effortless as possible. Design Selection ðŸŽ¨

The first step in the process is selecting a design from the Smart Sites Design Library. With 12 distinct designs and endless customization options, you'll find the perfect fit for your organization's brand. After choosing your design and submitting your brand assets (logos, colors, etc.), our design team will spring into action!

With your design selected and brand assets submitted, it's time to sit back and let the Smart Sites design team work their magic! They’ll apply your chosen design to your new Smart Site, customizing it with your logo, preferred fonts, colors, and unique design elements that add personality and a wow factor.

Finishing TouchesʉϬ

With your new design in place, it’s time to add the finishing touches! This is your opportunity to include photos or videos, social media icons, popular links in the header, and essential links in the footer. Thanks to the intuitive and user-friendly design of the Smart Sites CMS, you won’t need any design or development expertise to make these updates.

  • The Smart Sites design team typically works their magic behind the scenes to ensure your new site is up and running quickly and efficiently. To keep your project on track and ensure every detail is covered, your Implementation Manager will serve as the liaison between you and the design team. However, if design consultation is needed, the Design Team Manager or a team member will be happy to assist.

  • There are a few factors that impact the amount of time it will take to apply your new design. 

    • How many sites/campuses you have
    • Whether each site/campus has unique branding or not
    • The time of year


    In general, design setup is very quick and is complete within 2-4 weeks of the design form and brand assets being submitted.

  • We know that content needs and website trends evolve over time. Many school districts feel the urge to "redesign" their sites—especially the homepage—every few years. But with Smart Sites, there’s no need to wait! Our homepage designs are never “locked down,” allowing you to update your look and feel anytime, completely on your own, at no extra cost.

    As we introduce new components or design variations, all customers gain instant access. With just a few clicks, you can refresh your design, adjust styles, add content regions, or rearrange your page—giving you endless design possibilities.
